Wheel Alignment

When you drive straight does your vehicle pull to one side?
Is your steering wheel centered but your tires aren’t?
If so, your vehicle may need the alignment adjusted by our expert technicians.

A wheel alignment at our Bozeman or Helena tire shop adjusts your vehicle's wheels, making them parallel and perpendicular to the ground. Three angles contribute to proper alignment: camber, caster, and toe.

Camber is the inward or outward tilt of the tire and wheel assembly when you’re looking at the car from the front. Caster is the angle that your steering axis meets the wheel assembly. There is negative, zero, and positive castor which affects how your car steers and handles. Toe refers to how to the tires point to the center of the vehicle. Positive toe means they’re angled out from the center of the vehicle, and negative means they're angled in towards the center of the vehicle. Toe has the largest effect on the longevity of your tires.

If you ignore the signs of alignment issues, or you're not sure what to look for, it will cost you in the long run. The Eagle Tire teams in Bozeman and Helena want to make sure you’re getting the best MPG and life out of your tires that you can—reach out today!
